Gili Trawangan is an archipelago of three small islands. This island is near of the nortwest coast of Lombok, Indonesia.
This island is a pupular destination for tourists. Automobiles and motorised traffic are prohibited on the island by local ordinance, so th preferred method of transportation is by foot and bicycle or the horse-drawn carriage called a cidomo. Scuba diving and free diving in and around the gili is also famous due to the abudance of marine life and attractive coralformations. There are many local and international tourist visit it.
